Kylie Jenner isn’t really known for her skin. (Her lips, on the other hand, are infamous.) Still, when it was announced that Kylie was coming out with a skincare line, it generated a lot of buzz. The expectation was that her product launch would have pretty standard products. What we got was anything but. Kylie Skin’s first product launch included a walnut scrub. Scrubs might’ve been okay in the late 90s and maybe early 2000s, but now it’s generally perceived as a major no-no in skincare because scrubs can create micro-tears in skin. Kylie Skin caught a lot of flack over it. But one year later, it looks like Kylie Skin is finally catching up with the times. Last month, Kylie launched a clear Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Face Sunscreen that has received decent reviews. And now Kylie is coming out with a brand new collection called the Clarifying Collection. The Clarifying Collection features three products (pictures below):

  • Detox Face Mask. The Detox Face Mask is described as a cleansing mask formulated with kaolin and bentonite clays plus charcoal. It’s priced at $22.
  • Clear Complexion Correction Stick. The Clear Complexion Correction Stick is described as a gel serum that contains salicylic and glycolic acids to help exfoliate the skin (i.e. this is for dark spots). It’s priced at $15.
  • Clarifying Facial Oil. The Clarifying Facial Oil is described as a facial oil that helps clarifying impurities using Licorice Root, Vitamin E, and salicylic acid. It’s priced at $24.
